¡ÈMC Café¡É can be found in the fourth floor of Marunouchi Oazo located in front of the North exit of Marunouchi, JR Tokyo station.
You can enjoy unchanging taste of various European foods typical in Japan created in Meiji period. Hayashi rice (1300 yen with salad and drink) is known to be created by one of Japanese prominent bookstore, the founder of Maruzen ¡ÈHayashi Yuteki¡É. Vegetables and meat thoroughly stewed ¡Èfonds de veau¡É based dem-glace sauce is poured onto rice.
According to an account, hayashi rice is created based on western hushed beef. Many western culture are introduced to Japan during Meiji period and ¡Èfood¡É is not the exception.
Hayashi rice must have been very popular as ¡ÈHaikara (stylish) taste¡É in those days. Aside from hayashi rice, waffles and cakes are also served.
The café can be used for meal, for tea, or for any occasion.
