This delicious but cheap Tendon restaurant is the favorite of office workers and students around Kagurazaka area. A long line is formed in front of the restaurant everyday during the lunch time. A very substantial tendon with nice-smelling deep fried squid, sillago, seaweed, vegetables, and lots of prawns served on top of rice can be eaten for only 500 yen. Moreover, miso soup is also included in this price. Menu is composed of only two tendons: this ¡Ètendon¡É and ¡Èprawn tendon¡É (750 yen). They also serve large servings (same price) but they charge 50 yen penalty for not being able to finish it so be careful when you order large servings.
There are only 10 counter seats and the view of cook deep frying tempura right in front of you is something very enjoyable that you even forget the hunger.
