Kagurazaka is said to be one of the most stylish districts in Tokyo with old restaurants and hidden quality restaurants. Kagurazaka is not only the place that is filled with cultural atmosphere where many universities and publishers are located, but also the only place where you can enjoy “Peko chan yaki” (105 yen) in Japan. It is a face of Peko chan shaped sweet that has plentiful of bean jam or cream inside dough made of flour, egg, water, etc. The four standard flavors are cheese cream, red beans, chocolate cream, and custard cream. With these, one monthly and one seasonal flavors are added. Right now, they are purple potato jam (monthly) and strawberry milk cream (seasonal). They are cooked inside the restaurant so sweet aromatic smell makes passer-bys hungry. Customers can enjoy the hot newly-made Peko chan yaki. Because of its cuteness, it is difficult to decide from where to eat.
Peko chan yaki can be eaten while walking, so why not make it your accompany for Kagurazaka walk.
