One cannot miss ¡ÈChinese cabbage¡É out from Japanese winter cooking, hot-pot. It is an oval shaped vegetable imported from China, has green leaf part and white core part rolled up in many layers giving it its heaviness. Recently Chinese cabbages are sold in size of half or one fourth, but the best way to eat it is as a whole. However, there are voices of housewives such as ¡Èheavy¡É, ¡Ècannot fit in a refrigerator¡É, ¡Èget rotten before finish eating¡É, etc. In a situation like this, what recently seen is small Chinese cabbage ¡Èbaby Chinese cabbage¡É.
